The role:

• Learning Support Mentor to support the learning, achievement and development of pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties under the direction of the Teacher
• To support the collection and maintenance of data measuring pupil behaviour, attendance and academic achievement
• To establish productive working relationships with pupils
• To promote the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils within the class
• To support pupils consistently whilst recognising and responding to their individual needs
• A great opportunity which could lead to a permanent role

Requirements:

• Available to work 08:30 to 16:00, Monday to Friday
• Recent experience working with children in a school setting or alternate environment
• Must be AVAILABLE IMMEDIATELY to work as a Learning Support Mentor
• Already have or willing to apply for a Child Only enhanced DBS
• A caring and perceptive individual
