Learning Support Assistant

An opportunity has opened up for you to work within a fantastic SEN School, local to Radlett as a Learning Support Assistant. As a Learning Support Assistant you will be required to support children with SEN needs and work alongside the fantastic team of staff to ensure the safety and wellbeing of pupils at all times. This is a full time, Monday to Friday position (09:00 - 16:00). No previous experience working in a school is required as training can be provided so long as you have a passion for working with children.

The Role:

• Work with students that have SEN needs
• Support students with Autism on a 1:1 basis
• Assist the pupils' individual learning and social needs
• Look after children's physical, social and emotional welfare
• To organise and maintain an inclusive learning environment across the whole school environment

Requirements

• Really care about children, particularly those who find learning and managing their behaviour difficult
• You must be proficient in English
• Have an interest in how children learn and behave
• Willingness to learn what it takes to support SEN children
• Live local to Radlett
