Early Years Teaching Assistant

We have a fantastic opportunity for an Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a terrific school in Twickenham and support their wonderful team with children that have SEN.

The school:

• A special school for pupils with moderate learning needs and have additional complex needs including Autism
• Support and challenge pupils to achieve their full potential in their academic, social, creative, personal, physical and moral development
• Provides a broad and innovative curriculum which enriches the experience of their pupils.
• Maintain a consistently excellent, engaging and enjoyable teaching experience for all.

The role:

• Support children with moderate learning difficulties and autism in a reception class
• Safeguard and promote the welfare of children
• Help deliver a bespoke curriculum for each individual
• Provide opportunities for pupils to have life-long learning, growing independence and to be valued members of society.

Requirements:

• Must be able to work with young children with SEN needs
• Must have previous experience working with children
• The ideal candidate must have good spoken and written English
• Live local to Twickenham, or within a commutable distance
• Must be available Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4pm
