Classroom Assistant (Immediate Start)

Are you looking for as a Classroom Assistant? Love supporting children of all abilities? Live local to Twickenham?

Apply now as we are working with a fantastic school in the Twickenham area who are looking for a Classroom Assistant to join them straight away. The role will be a fulltime position from Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 4pm and you will be working with children with special needs within this position. You will need to be flexible to work across all secondary classes.

You do not need previous experience within a school setting as a Classroom Assistant but you will have had previous experience with children in some capacity and must have a general understanding of what is required of you as a Classroom Assistant!

The Role:

• Classroom Assistant working with children to support their learning and development
• As a Classroom Assistant you will be required to work with special needs students who have learning challenges
• Motivating and encouraging students to achieve their true potential as a Classroom Assistant
• Support the teachers in different classes with preparing lessons and resources as a Classroom Assistant
• Work across different classes potentially depending on what the school requires throughout the course of the school day

Requirements:

• Available immediately & Monday to Friday!
• Ideally you would have school-based experience but you must at the minimum have some experience with children that you can give reference for!
• It is preferable that you have prior experience with SEN children given the nature of this role, although it's not essential!
• Willingness to support children with SEN as a Classroom Assistant
• Graduates are welcome to apply even if you have a lack of experience but you will need to some have form of experience with children that is reference able
