Autism Specialist Assistant Wanted in High Wycombe for Immediate Start!
Are you passionate about making a difference in children's education? A fantastic Primary school in High Wycombe is looking for a full-time Autism Specialist Assistant to start immediately! This role runs Monday to Friday, from 08:30 am to 4:00 pm, offering valuable 1:1 support to students, particularly those with autism and SEND needs.
The Role:
As an Autism Specialist Assistant, you will play a crucial role in:
✅ Helping teachers foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
✅ Supporting students, including those with autism and SEND, through 1:1 and small group assistance.
✅ Assisting in planning and implementing educational activities inside and outside the classroom.
✅ Providing personal care support and motivating students to achieve their best.
Requirements:
✔ Available to work Monday to Friday, 08:30 am to 4:00 pm.
✔ Experience working with children (previous school experience is a bonus!).
✔ Comfortable offering 1:1 support to students with autism and SEND.
✔ Must have or be willing to obtain a Child Only DBS.
✔ Based in or near High Wycombe, or able to commute easily.
