Job description
Are you resilient, patient, and passionate about supporting children with additional needs?
We're delighted to be partnering with a supportive and inclusive primary school in Harrow, which is seeking a dedicated ABA Tutor to join their team.
This role will initially involve providing 1:1 ABA-based support for a complex Year 6 pupil, helping them to settle into school routines, establish firm and fair boundaries, and engage positively in learning. Over time, the role will expand to supporting pupils across the wider school, giving you the chance to make a meaningful impact throughout the community.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver 1:1 ABA interventions, supporting a Year 6 pupil to manage behaviour, develop independence, and engage in learning.
Set and maintain clear, consistent boundaries, balancing firmness with empathy and support.
Work closely with teachers, SEND staff, and pastoral teams to ensure strategies are applied consistently.
Track pupil progress and contribute to individualised support plans.
Gradually transition to working with pupils across the school, adapting ABA strategies to suit a range of needs.
What We're Looking For:
Experience working as an ABA Tutor, Teaching Assistant, or in a similar SEND support role.
Confidence in supporting pupils with behavioural challenges, ideally in KS2.
Someone who is firm, fair, resilient, and committed.
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
Availability for the full academic year.
Ability to commute to or reside in Harrow.
Why Register with Envision Education?
Specialists in securing long-term and permanent SEND roles.
Quick and efficient registration - Zoom interviews available.
Roles matched to your skills, location, and career goals.
Rated 4.9/5 on Google by our candidates.
Partnerships with primary, secondary, and SEND schools across London & the Home Counties.
If you're ready to take on a rewarding ABA Tutor role, supporting a pupil to reach their potential and making a lasting difference across a school community, we'd love to hear from you.
