Job description

Are you looking to start your career in education as an SEN Teaching Assistant? Do you live in the Hertfordshire area?

We are recruiting for an SEN Teaching Assistant to work within a fantastic SEN School, local to Radlett. This is a full time, Monday to Friday position (09:00 - 16:00). No previous experience working in a school required, provided that you have a passion for working with children and are willing to train up.

The role:

· Support students with Autism on a 1:1 basis

· Contribute to creating a safe, supportive and engaging learning environment

· Work closely with outside agencies and other teachers

· Ensure safety for pupils in and out of class

· Communicate closely with colleagues to ensure progress of students is prioritised

Requirements:

· Passion for working with children and/or young adults

· Willingness to learn what it takes to support SEN children

· Live local to Radlett
