Secondary Art Teacher - SEN School

We have a fabulous opportunity for you to join a wonderful SEN school in Southall This is a full-time position starting immediately as the school is keen to have the right candidate join them straight away. You will be required to plan, prepare and deliver high quality lessons to mixed ability groups across years and have recent experience in a school setting.

The Role:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver high quality lessons to mixed ability groups across years
  • Maintain a stimulating learning environment for all children
  • Engage students from a variety of backgrounds
  • Manage the behaviour of stduents inside the classroom
  • Work alongside parents to ensure children receive they need at home too

The School:

  • Offer early years, primary, secondary and sixth form education to autistic children and young people
  • Put the needs and welfare of our children above everything else
  • OFSTED 'Outstanding' rated school
  • Smaller classes than the average school with lots of 1:1 support

Requirements:

  • A passion for Art and a genuine desire to help all students achieve their potential
  • Excellent classroom management is desirable for this position
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent
  • Have recent experience planning, preparing and delivering Art lessons
  • Have a positive attitude towards teaching and learning
  • Either live in Southall, or within a commutable distance
