Envision Education are seeking Science teachers with QTS to work with KS3 students to provide high quality Science lessons in accordance with the school's well-planned, reflexive Curriculum.

The Role:

  • Plan and deliver the highest quality Science lessons to KS3 pupils with SEN and SEMH needs
  • Facilitate learning through engaging and appropriately challenging learning sessions tailored to pupils' individual learning needs
  • Teach in line with the National Curriculum
  • Manage behaviour positively and in line with the schools' ethos and procedures
  • Ensure that continuous learning assessments are carried out and used to support individual pupil's learning
  • Uphold the school's values and ethos at all times
  • Create a well-managed, secure and happy learning environment

Requirements:

  • Qualified teacher Status
  • Science-related degree
  • Excellent SEMH and/or SEN experience
  • Confidence managing challenging behaviour in a positive manner
  • Outstanding communication and organisational skills
  • Clear unserstanding of the National Curriculum and individual learning targets]
  • Meticulous record-keeping and continuous assessment skill
