Job description

Are you a Science Graduate?

Have you had 1 years experience as a Teaching Assistant?

We are seeking Science Specialist Teaching Assistants on behalf of a number of schools we are working closely with based in Hillingdon. You will be working alongside teachers to support pupils needing additional support.

The role:

  • Provide support to students in their science lessons
  • Work 1:1 and in groups to ensure students are making sufficient progress in science
  • Provide feedback, when required, regarding the academic progress of students
  • Provide general classroom support to the Teacher

Essential requirements:

  • Ideally a recent graduate with a degree in Science
  • Must have 1 years experience working as a Teaching Assistant in the UK
  • Must be confident in supporting children in at LEAST 1 of the following subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Physics
  • Must be proactive and have the ability to complete tasks without being prompted
  • Must have excellent English with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be available full time
