Are you an experienced and dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant who loves working with children and contributing in their success? The school:

• Caters for primary age pupils, most of whom have autism, complex moderate learning difficulties and communication and interaction difficulties and other sensory impairments
• Maintains high standards of teaching and learning while ensuring children's well-being and safety

• Encourages pupils to develop their confidence, self-esteem, independency and resilience

The role:

• Primary Teaching Assistant to support children with autism and behavioural difficulties
• To assist students achieve their goals and reach their full potential
• To contribute in their personal and academic development
• To encourage positive behaviour and nurture students into becoming successful members of the wider community
• An excellent role which may lead to a permanent position

Requirements:

• Recent experience working with children in a school environment
• Maintain excellent and open communication systems with colleagues and family members
• Available to work 08:30 to 16:00, Monday to Friday
• Must be available from September to work as a Primary Teaching Assistant
• Already have or willing to apply for a Child Only enhanced DBS
• A devoted and caring individual
