Primary Classroom Carer - Primary School

Do you have care experience developed in a hospital or an alternate setting? Are you a confident Primary Classroom Carer? If so, then apply now as an exciting opportunity has arisen for an attentive Primary Classroom Carer to join a talented team in a fantastic Primary school in Hounslow!

The School:

  • Caters for pupils aged 3-11 with severe or profound and multiple learning difficulties, some of whom also have an additional diagnosis of autism

The Role:

  • Primary Classroom Carer to support students in KS1 or KS2
  • To contribute to the learners' confidence, growth and independency
  • To assist in their progress while ensuring they feel safe and embraced
  • Primary Classroom Carer that acts as a role model and is able to support pupils on a daily basis within all aspects of their learning
  • To provide guidance and inspire creativity
  • An excellent opportunity which may lead to a permanent role

Requirements:

  • Available Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 16:00
  • Recent experience working with special needs pupils, inside or outside a school environment
  • Be committed to working alongside the teacher and be willing to lead lessons or small group work
  • Available IMMEDIATELY to work as a Primary Classroom Carer
  • Already have or willing to apply for an enhanced Child Only DBS
  • Live locally to Hounslow or be able to commute there on a daily basis
