Are you keen to support students with Special Educational Needs in a school setting?

We are recruiting Learning Support Mentors for an all through SEN School based in Southall, Ealing. They offer early years, primary, secondary and sixth form education, to young people on the autism spectrum. You will be providing consistent and reliable support to students and work within a highly structured, welcoming team.

This school are always looking for innovative ways to support and inspire their students. You will be working with the team to help pupils reach their full potential, in readiness for adult life.

About the school:

Based in Southall, this school caters to 4-18 year old. They have received an outstanding OFSTED report and there are school psychologist, behaviour coordinators, speech and language therapist, and occupational therapist on site. They aim to provide pupils with the confidence and skills they need to find enjoyment and fulfillment in what they do.

The role:

  • To work 1:1 with students on the Autism Spectrum
  • Follow the students EHCP and behaviour plans
  • Be creative in finding ways to encourage students learning
  • Work within a team and offer support where you can

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree, desired
  • Live local to Southall, Ealing
  • Be positive and a team player
  • Available full time from September
