Teaching Assistant

Experienced Teaching Assistant required for a Primary School in Hackney

Envision Education is seeking experienced Teaching Assistants for a primary school in Hackney to support Year 2 pupil who has a diagnosis of ADHD, who presents as impulsive behaviour and at times can lash out at children when he is over excited.

The role:

• To support a Year 2 pupil with ADHD who can lash out at children when he is over excited and 'on the go'
• Someone who is confident at delivering lessons outside of the classroom
• Someone who has experience of managing high profile needs and can set firm behaviour expectations
• Positive behaviour management strategies
• Carry out administrative tasks if needed.

Requirements:

• Experience of managing high profile needs and can set firm behaviour expectations
• Minimum 6 months school based experience
• Degree and / or TA qualification
• Must have good spoken and written English
• Bubbly and confident personality and enjoys working with children
• Must be available full-time and immediately
