Job description

Do you have experience supporting SEN pupils, in a school setting?

If so, we are looking for a patient and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for positions within the Ealing and Hillingdon boroughs. You will have previous experience supporting SEN pupils and a good understanding of managing challenging behaviour. The roles are full time starting in September, and are long term positions within the schools.

The role:

  • To work 1:1 with SEN pupils
  • To work closely with the class teacher
  • To provide feedback on student progress, and accurately record their progress
  • Use your initiative to support students and build relationships

Requirements:

  • Team Teach / Makaton / PECS training, desired
  • At least 1 year of experience working with SEN pupils
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • Live within the Ealing/Hillingdon boroughs, or the surrounding areas
  • Available full time from September
