Job description

Experienced Special Needs Teaching Assistant Required for a Primary School in Neasden

Do you have 1 year of school based experience? Are you available immediately and full-time?

Envision Education is seeking an experienced Special Needs Teaching Assistant to support pupils with special needs in a primary aschool setting. You must have prior SEN experience and based in or near Neasden area.

The Role:

  • To support a child in a year 5 class who has autism. He has an education healthcare plan (EHCP)
  • Monitor the progress of pupils and provide feedback
  • Support the teacher with daily duties
  • Provide the Teacher with general classroom support

Requirements:

  • Must have experience supporting children with behavioural difficulties and providing academic support
  • Minimum of 1 year experience working with pupils with SEN is preferred
  • Degree/ TA qualifications
  • Must have good spoken and written English
  • Must be available full-time and immediately
