Special Needs Teaching Assistant

Envision Education are looking for an experienced and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a truly inclusive and diverse Primary School in the heart of Harrow.

About the School:

This very well regarded and welcoming primary school is very passionate and dedicated about offering the best support to SEN children, with creative lessons and a focused attitude to learning.

The school uses high quality resources and has excellent facilities which contribute to a highly effective learning environment.

Role:

  • Work in a SEN specialist setting supporting teaching staff and children
  • Ability to support children 1:1 and in groups
  • Hard working and passionate
  • Confident to work with children with severe learning difficulties such as Autism and Downs Syndrome
  • Must be able to monitor the progress of pupils and provide feedback
  • Must be aware of the childrens emotional needs
  • Ensure you are creating a safe and inclusive environment

Requirements:

  • 6 months of experience in a similar setting
  • Experience working with children with SEN is ideal
  • Bachelor Degree is preferred
  • Must be available full-time and immediately
  • Live locally to Harrow
