Primary School Teaching Assistant - Enfield

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a primary school in Enfield for a full-time Teaching Assistant. This role is Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm, and offers a rewarding opportunity to support pupils within a welcoming and inclusive school environment.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils' learning, development and wellbeing, helping them to thrive both academically and socially within the classroom.

We are seeking candidates with previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a primary school setting, or individuals who have experience supporting children and young people in educational or care environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide classroom and one-to-one support for pupils across the primary age range
• Support pupils in achieving their individual learning and developmental goals
• Help to create a positive, engaging and supportive learning environment
• Assist the class teacher with daily classroom activities and preparation of learning resources
• Build strong, professional relationships with pupils, staff, parents and external professionals
• Encourage positive behaviour, confidence and participation in learning activities
• Support pupils with additional learning needs where required

• Previous experience working with children in a professional capacity
