Job description

Are you local to Acton, Ealing? Do you have experience supporting SEND pupils?

We are looking for an SEND Teaching Assistant to work in a lovely primary school based in Acton, supporting a pupil in Year 5 with behavioural challenges. You must have good written and spoken English, ideally at least 6 months of experience in a school setting and be confident managing challenging behaviour. This is a long term position, starting in January 2022 - however trials and interviews are taking place in December.

The role:

  • Support a Year 5 pupil
  • Work with the class as a whole
  • Manage challenging behaviour
  • Follow the students learning plans
  • Support the class teacher

Requirements:

  • Level 3 TA qualification, or higher
  • Available full time and long term
  • Experience supporting SEN pupils
  • Live local to Acton, Ealing
