Do you have experience working with SEN pupils?

If so, we are seeking SEN Teaching Assistants for an Outstanding, all through, SEN School based in Radlett. This is a small school where the students are at the heart of everything they do. They celebrate the achievements of all of our pupils and recognise that what some might see as a tiny step can be the biggest of challenges.

Prior experience working with SEN pupils, particularly those on the Autism Spectrum is desired, and an ability to build connections with students. There is parking available, so this role is ideal for you if you drive and are looking for a long term position from September.

About the school:

A SEN School with 55 pupils, based in Radlett. This is an all through school so the students range from 4 - 19. There is a distinct sense of community and helping children and young people feel they belong both in the school and in our wider community is highly important to them.

The role:

  • To work 1:1 with Autistic students
  • To care for the students mental, emotional and physical well being
  • Work closely with the supervisor and outside agencies
  • Provide personal care, if needed
  • Ensure there is a safe learning environment for all students

Requirements:

  • Experience with SEN individuals
  • Live local to Radlett
  • A passion to support SEN students
  • An ability to use your own initiative
  • Available full time from September
