Are you a Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting young children with Special Education Needs?

Envision Education has a fantastic position for a dedicated and engaging SEN Specialist Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic, highly inclusive Catholic Primary School in Neasden. The right candidate will support three Year 2 children with Special Educational Needs alongside a highly experienced Teacher and Teaching Assistant.

The School:

A small school of 210 children, this unique Primary school enjoys close links to the parish community. They see themselves as one big family and see each child as an individual.

The staff work together to ensure that children receive the best possible education within a supportive and caring environment. Through their close partnership with parents and the wider community, they encourage children to grow and develop as they prepare them to face life's challenges head on.

The Role:

  • 8.30am to 4pm
  • Provide support to three Year 2 students with ASD and ADHD diagnoses
  • Provide support to a highly experienced Teacher and Teaching Assistant
  • Model positive behaviour and values
  • Employ different support strategies to ensure that students' varying education needs are being met

Requirements:

  • Live locally or be able to commute to Neasden
  • A passion for providing quality classroom support to SEN students
  • Available from September
  • Ability to work closely with a small group of students
