Job description

Science Teacher needed for a Secondary School in Harrow!

We are seeking a Science Teacher to join a superb Secondary School in Harrow. You will be required to teach children predominately in KS3 and KS4. You must be a fully qualified Teacher and be available for an immediate start.

The Role:

  • Teach Science to KS3 & KS4 pupils
  • Model expected behaviour to establish and maintain an orderly, disciplined classroom
  • Create lesson plans and evaluate student performances
  • Teach using lectures, technology and hands-on learning experiences
  • Evaluate student performance on tasks established by the standards using different methods such as observation, performance-based tasks or other standard test practices

Requirements:

  • Must have previous experience working with children
  • You must be a fully qualified Teacher
  • Strong communication skills, both orally and in writing
  • Bachelor's degree in science education or another related field
  • Must be comfortable working with both staff and children
  • Either live in Harrow, or within a commutable distance
