Job description

Primary School Teaching Assistant

Are you seeking to support children with their learning development as a Primary School Teaching Assistant in the Hounslow area? Do you have previous experience working with children and enjoy supporting their growth?

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to support children with ASD and behavioural challenges. Candidates must have experience working with children in the UK, particularly with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, 08:00am to 4:00pm.

The Role:

  • Support children on a 1:1 basis and/or in small groups as a Primary School Teaching Assistant
  • Assist in children's development and learning
  • Work alongside colleagues to help create a fun, safe and stimulating learning environment for pupils and staff
  • Support the teacher with preparing classroom materials

Requirements:

  • Available to work 08:00am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
  • Must have UK-based experience working as a Teaching Assistant
  • Passionate about working with children
  • Already have or be willing to apply for a Child Only enhanced DBS
  • Either live in Hounslow or within a commutable distance
