Primary School Teaching Assistant - Primary School

Are you an experienced and dedicated Primary School Teaching Assistant who loves working with children and contributing in their success? We have a very special opportunity for you to join a wonderful Primary school in Kingsbury and thrive in your role as a Primary School Teaching Assistant.

The school:

  • Caters for primary age pupils with learning, communication and interaction difficulties and other sensory impairments
  • Maintains high standards of teaching and learning, which meet the students' individual needs
  • Provides sensory and soft play suites, a superbly resourced swimming pool, extensive play and outdoor learning areas, fully equipped sports hall, café and producing kitchen, a hall with full lighting and sound facilities as well as a drama/dance studio

The role:

  • Primary School Teaching Assistant to support students with learning difficulties and ASD
  • To assist students achieve their goals and reach their full potential
  • To encourage pupils to develop confidence, self-esteem, independency and resilience
  • A rewarding opportunity which could lead to a permanent position

Requirements:

  • Recent experience working with children in a school environment
  • Available to work 08:30 to 16:00, Monday to Friday
  • Must be available from September to work as a Primary School Teaching Assistant
  • Already have or willing to apply for a Child Only enhanced DBS
  • A devoted and caring individual
