Primary School Classroom Assistant - Slough

Have you had experience as a Primary School Classroom Assistant? Do you have a passion to support children with their development? Live local to the Slough area? We are looking for a Primary School Classroom Assistant to join a fantastic primary school and support children with their education.

It is not essential to have previous experience as a Primary School Classroom Assistant but you must have an understanding of how to support children with their learning and also be proactive to meeting the needs of children and be willing to get stuck in without needing instructions for a Teacher.

The Role:

• As a Primary School Classroom Assistant this role requires you to support children mainly in KS1 & KS2 with all aspects of their development
• Assist children that have SEN, ensuring they are also making progress with their learning
• Establish trusting relationships with pupils and interact with them according to individual needs and personalities

• Work with children 1:1 or in small groups when required
• Be interactive with the children and take a proactive approach to helping children

Requirements:

• Available to work 08:30 to 16:00, Monday to Friday
• Recent experience in a school environment is ideal but not essential but you must have previous experience with children which is mandatory
• Either live in Slough, or within a commutable distance
• Already have or willing to apply for a Child Only enhanced DBS
• Be available for an immediate start
