Job description

Calling all Early Years / KS1 Teaching Assistants with Phonics experience!
Envision Education are seeking a Phonics Teaching Assistant to support a Year 1 class in a primary school based in Hounslow.

We are looking for someone with experience as a TA in EYFS / KS1 supporting children with their phonics. The role is to start immediately, and is a full-time, long-term position.

About the role:

  • Assist pupils in a Year 1 class with their phonics
  • Lead activities in small groups
  • Help the classroom Teacher to create resources for lessons
  • Monitor the progress of pupils
  • Ensure a creative and positive learning environment

Requirements:

  • 6 months experience as a Teaching Assistant
  • Experience must be school based and in the UK, within the last 2 years
  • Degree is desirable
  • Genuine interest in progressing in Education
  • Must be available full-time and immediately
