Maths SEND Teacher
We are partnering with an independent and inclusive school that is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Maths SEND Teacher to join their team. Key Responsibilities for a Maths SEND Teacher:
* Deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons tailored to pupils with SEND.
* Adapt teaching methods, resources and lesson content to meet individual learning needs, including EHCPs and IEPs.
* Support pupils in developing confidence and independence in Maths.
* Create a structured, positive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, families and external professionals to support pupil progress.
* Monitor and assess student achievement, adapting strategies where necessary.
* Support pupils' social, emotional and behavioural development alongside academic progress.
For this role, you will have:
* Previous experience teaching Maths within a SEND or inclusive setting.
* Strong understanding of differentiated learning and inclusive teaching practices.
* Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
* A patient, empathetic and adaptable approach.
* QTS is preferred; however, unqualified candidates with substantial teaching experience will also be considered.
* An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.

Pay rate is dependent on qualifications, experience and skills.
