Job description

Are you an experienced Learning Support Assistant seeking a full-time role from September? Are you based locally to Richmond?

We have partnered up with a number of exceptional schools across the borough of Richmond who will be looking for talented Learning Support Assistants to join their team in the new academic year.

We are looking for LSA's who have solid experience supporting children with complex and varying learning needs and are open to working in a mainstream or a special school. This role would suit someone who is genuinely passionate about encouraging the progress of pupils with SEN and has a positive, "can-do" attitude!

About the role:

  • Support pupils on a 1:1 basis, as well as in small groups
  • Carry out interventions
  • Track their progress on a termly basis
  • Work alongside the Classroom Teacher to ensure children are offered the highest quality of education
  • Provide children with general support when needed

What we are looking for:

  • 1 year experience as a Learning Support Assistant
  • Local to, or happy travelling to Richmond
  • Genuine interest in supporting children with SEN
  • Team Teach / PECS / Makaton training is desirable
  • Must be available full-time from September 2020
