Job description

Do you have recent experience working with SEN individuals? Are you local to Hillingdon and available long term?

Envision Education are looking for a KS5 SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a fantastic SEN School based in Hillingdon. The school offer a broad and balanced curriculum, in partnership with therapeutic services, to support and challenge students at an appropriate level, so that they can reach their potential and go on to enjoy meaningful adult lives.

About the school:

The school cater to students with 'Complex and Moderate Learning Difficulties with Autism' and have a positive learning community incorporating pupils, families, professionals and a dedicated team of experienced staff, who are committed to, and passionate about, the learning and progress of their pupils.

The role:

  • Provide 1:1 with students in KS5
  • Support and help to motivate SEN pupils
  • Help students to develop life skills and work towards achieving targets
  • Adapt communication style to the pupils needs

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a school setting
  • Bachelors degree
  • Understanding and experience working with SEN pupils
  • Live local to Hillingdon
