KS4 SEN Teaching Assistant

Are you confident working with SEN pupils? Do you live local to Southall, Ealing?

We are seeking SEN Teaching Assistants to support students in KS4 at a fantastic SEN school based in Southall. This is potentially a temp to perm position for the right candidate, where support and training is provided. At least 6 month experience supporting SEN pupils is required, and ideally supporting students with ASD.

A all through SEN School based in Southall, that encompasses a creative approach and performing arts specialism to help every child with autism learn and develop. The school is highly structured, and pride themselves on the warm, welcoming place they have created where children feel valued and safe.

The role:

  • Work 1:1 with pupils with ASD and related disorders
  • Support in and out of class
  • Help to encourage their SaLT and OT sessions, if required
  • Be creative and use your own initiative

Requirements:

  • A level 3 TA qualification, or higher
  • Ideally, 1 year of school based experience
  • Experience supporting SEN pupils
  • Live local to Southall
