Job description

Do you have a HLTA qualification? Have you had experience supporting students in a school setting?

We are looking for qualified and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistants, for Primary and Secondary schools around Hayes, Hillingdon. As a HLTA, you will work closely with the Class Teacher and support Teaching Assistants in the class. You will work both 1:1 and with the class as a whole, and be confident in managing the class in the teachers absence.

Ideally, you will have at least 6 months experience in a school setting and have a real passion to support students. You will be able to use your initiative to discover where students may be struggling and develop techniques to support them.

The Role:

  • To support students 1:1 and in groups
  • Assist the teacher, and support staff members
  • Help prepare learning materials
  • Feedback on the students progress
  • Create an engaging and positive learning environment

Essential Requirements:

  • HLTA qualification, or relevant degree
  • Able to commute to Hayes, Hillingdon
  • A hard working, and organised personality
  • Available full time from September
