Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Are you an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant?

Envision education are looking for flexible and committed Higher Level Teaching Assistant for a Secondary School based in Hillingdon. The role will commence in September and could potentially lead to a permanent role in the school.

This is a large school with over 900 students, based in the heart of Hillingdon. There are high expectations of students, to help students know there are no limits to their choices in life. You will have the same vision, by putting the students at the heart of everything you do.

About the school:

The school caters to students 11-18 and is a mixed comprehensive Foundation School. There is parking on-site and plenty of close transport links. Within the new building, there are new facilities and technology to help students and staff develop new methods of teaching. The professional development of staff is a key goal of theirs, done through training and tailoring CPD courses to suit each member of staff.

The role:

• To lead a specialist focused area within the school
• To support pupils to overcome barriers to learning
• Work closely with the class teacher to implement lesson plans
• To provide supervision and guidance and learning opportunities in all non-lesson based activities

Requirements:

• Relevant Degree
• Recent experience as a TA or HLTA in a Secondary School
• Through understanding of the working with SEN pupils
• Experience delivering interventions
• Available full time in September
