Classroom Assistant

Envision Education are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Classroom Assistant who is looking for a full-time, long-term TA role in a school within the Hounslow borough.

We are on a search for talented and bright Teaching Assistants to support pupils to progress and help to close the gap in attainment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide general classroom support to pupils and the Teacher
• Assist children who are struggling
• Help to regulate challenging behaviour
• Help to prepare and create learning resources
• Promote a positive learning environment
• Create plans in line with pupils' targets under the direction of the Class Teacher

Requirements:

• 6 months of experience as a Teaching Assistant
• Degree and / or Level 3 TA qualification
• Confident and energetic
• 'Firm but fair' approach to supporting children
• Must be available full-time and long-term
