Behaviour Mentor - Secondary School

Are you a confident and resilient Behaviour Mentor who has a passion for working with children and is actively seeking a long-term placement in a supportive learning environment? We would love to hear from you as we have a unique Secondary School in Lewisham now looking for an experienced Behaviour Mentor to join their team!

The role:

  • Behaviour Mentor to support secondary-aged students with a wide range of needs
  • To become a role model and to provide support to students with behavioural problems, to assist them overcome those and to help them reach their full potential
  • To encourage the children's personal and academic development
  • To grow strong and positive relationships with the students
  • A special opportunity which could lead to a permanent role

Requirements:

  • Available to work 08:30 to 16:00, Monday to Friday
  • Recent experience working with children in a school or alternate setting
  • Must be AVAILABLE IMMEDIATELY to work as a Behaviour Mentor
  • Already have/willing to apply for a Child Only enhanced DBS
  • A confident, positive and patient individual
