Job description

Do you have experience supporting children with special educational needs? Are you passionate about helping children with autism?

We are seeking a Teaching Assistant to support children in a special needs school based in Radlett, Hertfordshire. The role is demanding but at the same time highly rewarding.

You must be dedicated, available on a full time basis from Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm and willing to work with children who have challenging behaviour.

About the role:

  • To support children with autism and learning difficulties
  • To engage with the Teachers and other members of staff to ensure a safe and positive learning environment for children
  • To work on a one to one basis with children
  • Managing challenging behaviour in a safe and positive way

Requirements:

  • 6 months experience as a Teaching Assistant
  • Must be confident supporting children with special needs
  • Must be available full-time from September from 9am to 5pm, Mon to Fri
