Are you an experienced and driven school leader seeking a rewarding new opportunity? Our partner specialist school in West London is currently recruiting for an Assistant Headteacher to join their team on a full-time basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in a forward-thinking, specialist setting supporting pupils aged 5-17 with autism, where a strong focus is placed on communication, social development and personalised learning.

As an Assistant Headteacher at this school, you will:
* Support the Headteacher in delivering strong, strategic leadership across the school
* Lead the day-to-day management of the site in the Headteacher's absence
* Contribute to the development and implementation of school aims, policies and improvement priorities
* Ensure high standards of teaching, safeguarding, behaviour and pupil wellbeing
* Promote a positive, inclusive and safe school culture for all pupils and staff
* Lead and develop staff, systems and resources effectively
* Oversee curriculum development, ensuring a broad, well-sequenced and inclusive offer
* Champion evidence-informed practice, including ABA/VB approaches
* Monitor pupil progress and outcomes, implementing strategies to drive improvement
* Work collaboratively with parents, carers, external agencies and the wider community
* Lead on key strategic areas such as personal development, wellbeing, curriculum enrichment and post-16 preparation
* Support staff development, performance management and ongoing CPD
* Ensure the school meets all safeguarding, statutory and compliance requirements

In return, this school offers a supportive and innovative environment, opportunities for career progression, and the chance to make a lasting impact within a specialist educational setting.

If you are ready to take the next step in your leadership career and contribute to a high-quality, inclusive provision, we encourage you to apply.

For this role, you will need to have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Proven experience within a school setting, ideally in a leadership or management role
* A strong understanding of SEND, particularly autism
* An interest in or experience with ABA/VB approaches
* High expectations for pupil outcomes, behaviour and staff performance
* Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills
* The ability to work collaboratively with staff, families and external professionals
* A commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and continuous improvement
* The right to work in the UK
* A DBS on the update service or be willing to complete one

This is a great opportunity for an ambitious leader looking to develop their career within a specialist and highly rewarding school environment.
